This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage Englander ("we", "our", "us") use on our website at englander.ai and in our applications on *.englander.ai (for example inventoryforecast.englander.ai and property.englander.ai).
The short version: the website uses Google Analytics only if you accept it; the applications use sign-in cookies only. Neither runs advertising or remarketing tags.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Persistent" cookies stay until they expire or you delete them; "session" cookies go when you close your browser. Some of what we use is not a cookie at all but browser storage (localStorage, IndexedDB), which works the same way for your privacy — it stays on your device and we list it here too.
Everything we set is listed below by name. If it is not in this table, we do not set it.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent | Englander (browser storage) | Remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner so we do not ask again. | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells Google Analytics that separate visits came from the same browser, so we can count visitors rather than page loads. | Analytics — only if you accept | Up to 2 years |
_ga_3B2NDSHTB5 | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your current visit for our Google Analytics property. | Analytics — only if you accept | Up to 2 years |
Product videos on this site are embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, which sets no cookies until you press play. If you play a video, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies under Google's cookie policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sets no cookies.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__session, __client_uat and other __clerk_* cookies | Clerk (our sign-in provider) | Keep you signed in and prove to our servers that requests come from you. | Strictly necessary | For as long as you are signed in; cleared when you sign out |
linnworks_connect_tenant | Englander | Remembers which account you are connecting to Linnworks while you are sent to Linnworks and back. | Strictly necessary | 10 minutes |
The Location Confirmation customer dashboard on this website signs you in with Firebase Authentication, which keeps your sign-in in browser storage (IndexedDB) rather than a cookie, for as long as you stay signed in.
The applications contain no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because everything they set is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, they do not show a cookie banner.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the website, which pages they read and how they found us (search engine, direct link and so on), together with device type, browser and approximate location at country or city level. It is switched off until you accept "Analytics cookies" in our banner.
Legal basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and PECR regulation 6).
The Google tag on this site runs in Consent Mode v2, advanced mode. Before you choose, and if you decline, it sends Google only cookieless "pings" (timestamp, page, device type — no cookies, no identifiers) which Google uses for aggregated, modelled reports. Only after you accept does it set the _ga cookies above.
We do not run any advertising, remarketing or conversion-tracking tags on this website or in our applications, and we set no advertising cookies.
Our banner still has a "Personalised ads" switch. It controls the advertising consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) that Consent Mode passes to Google Analytics. We keep those signals denied unless you switch it on, and even then no advertising tag exists to use them. We keep the switch so that, if we ever did add advertising, it could not start without your say-so.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking in the footer of any page. Declining analytics does not affect anything on the site.
Note: the strictly necessary items cannot be switched off, because the site and the applications do not work without them.
Your browser can also view, block and delete cookies:
Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in to the applications.
Your banner choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time from "Cookie settings".
The third parties named above process data under their own policies:
Our full list of processors is on the sub-processors page.
We update this page when what we set changes, and adjust the "Last Updated" date. The table in section 3 is the record.
