Location Confirmation Documentation
Complete guide to using the Englander Location Confirmation app for Linnworks inventory management.
Getting Started
1. Installation
- Download the app from the Google Play Store
- Install on your Zebra scanner or Android device
- Launch the app
2. Account Setup
- Tap "Create Account"
- Enter your email address
- Create a secure password (minimum 6 characters)
- Tap "Create Account"
3. Link Your Linnworks Account
- Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right
- Tap "Link Linnworks Account"
- A browser will open with the Linnworks authorization page
- Log in to your Linnworks account
- Authorize the Englander app
- Your account is now linked! 14-day free trial starts automatically.
Using the App
Selecting a Warehouse Location
- On the main screen, tap the location dropdown at the top
- Select your warehouse from the list
- The app will remember your selection
Scanning Items
- Use your scanner to scan a product barcode
- The app will display:
- Product title
- SKU
- Current stock level
- Current bin location (if assigned)
Confirming Bin Locations
- After scanning an item, you'll be prompted to scan the bin location
- Scan the bin rack barcode
- Tap "Confirm Location" to save
- The location is updated in Linnworks immediately
Updating Stock Levels
- After scanning an item, enter the quantity to add in the "Add Stock" field
- Tap "Add to Stock"
- Stock level updates in Linnworks immediately
Pro Mode (Manager Features)
Enabling Pro Mode
- Tap the Settings icon (⚙️)
- Tap "Enable Pro Mode Protection"
- Set a 4-digit passcode
- Toggle "Pro Mode" at the top of the main screen
- Enter your passcode
Pro Mode Features
- Skip Location Scan: Bypass bin location confirmation when needed
- Direct Stock Adjustments: Add stock without location confirmation
- Override Restrictions: Access all features without constraints
Settings
Pro Mode Protection
Restrict Pro Mode access with a passcode to prevent unauthorized use.
Sound Settings
- Success Sound: Enable/disable audio feedback for successful scans
- Error Sound: Enable/disable audio feedback for errors
Haptic Feedback
Enable/disable vibration feedback for scan events.
Troubleshooting
No Linnworks Account Linked
Solution: Go to Settings → Link Linnworks Account and complete the OAuth flow.
Location Not Loading
Solution: Check your internet connection and ensure you've linked your Linnworks account.
Scanner Not Working
Solution: The app uses DataWedge on Zebra scanners. Ensure DataWedge is enabled and configured to send scans to the app.
Session Expired
Solution: The app will automatically refresh your session. If issues persist, try signing out and back in.
Subscription & Billing
Free Trial
When you link your Linnworks account, you automatically get a 14-day free trial. No credit card required.
After Trial
Subscription: £40/month per user
Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription in two ways:
- Web Dashboard: Visit englander.ai/dashboard to view trial status, manage subscriptions, and update billing details.
- App Settings: Tap Settings → Subscription to subscribe or manage your plan.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime from the web dashboard by clicking "Manage Subscription" which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. You'll have access until the end of your billing period.
